This question is asked a lot. People even get angry because we are charging more for a ‘mixed breed’. If you do not agree with our prices we understand and respect your right to find a puppy from another program. We are upfront and stand by our our ethics and intentions.
Vetting, proper care, vaccines, check-ups, microchips, DNA testing, unexpected expenses, puppy care kits etc, are all factored into our puppy's prices.
We will post on our Facebook page when we are accepting new applications, as well as on our website and Good Dog profile. The application is available on our website and will be sent DIGITALLY on Good Dog for you to fill out and submit. Once applications are reviewed, chosen homes will be notified and required to pay a $250 NONREFUNDABLE deposit to hold their spot on our waiting list. This contract can also be found on our website.
We will fly your puppy at your cost via commercial airline. You may fly and meet your puppy to pick them up. We have options, such as flight nanny, where we will fly with your puppy in the cabin and deliver them to you , at your cost, or we will meet halfway within 500 miles. We do not sell anywhere out of the United States.

When puppies are about 5 weeks old and we can tell their eye color we will post updated photos and videos. For those who pay the full amount up front they will get first pick, in order of payment received. We do not “hold or guarantee” a puppy for you unless you make the full payment in advance. If you choose to put down a $250 deposit you will have to wait until those that have paid in full have picked their new puppy. If you have placed a deposit but have not paid in full by 8 weeks of age you may forfeit the puppy and will have to wait for the next litter. We need time to make arrangements to send them home at 10 weeks so we need to know for sure that the sale will go through.
We try to only take deposits that can be applied to our currently available puppies. That being said, it is impossible to predict litter size or when a female will not get pregnant. We get a lot of pressure to take deposits because people want to be assured they will get a puppy. You will have to be patient though as we are a small home breeder and can only have so many pups per year.
We cannot guarantee size. With pomskies there is always a chance of a throwback so we can have pups well under or over the expected weight range but from what we’ve seen you can expect a 50/50 to be about 15-30lbs.
So far we have not seen any health problems but this is a brand new hybrid and we still have a lot to learn. We do have a specific health guarantee in our contract and ask for an update on all of our puppies so that if health issues do arise we will know about them and they can be addressed. Our breeding dogs are all embark tested and their profiles are available at any time.
We are located in Tri-Cities WA. We are about 20 minutes from the Pasco, WA Airport (PSC) and 2 ½ hours from Spokane, WA Airport (GEG) We can arrange to meet with the puppy if you want to fly in and then fly back home with the puppy. This is usually about 100 dollars in addition to the cost of your plane ticket. We do not pay for this service for you.
Pomsky coats are typically somewhere between a husky coat and a Pomeranian coat. They are soft and fluffy but have a silky quality that most pom coats lack. Most the dead hairs will sit in the coat until you brush them out so shedding is not a big issue with regular brushing. They do blow coat in the Summer and for about a month they will shed like crazy, but again, this can be controlled with more frequent brushing. In any case, you may end up with a Pomsky that sheds a ton, or not at all. Be aware that it’s a possibility and prepare accordingly. If you are sensitive to pet hair/dander, please consider this before adopting a Pomsky.
Pomskies are a crossbreed between Pomeranians and Siberian Huskies, and their temperament can vary depending on the individual dog. However, they typically display characteristics of both breeds. These intelligent dogs are known for being easy to train, and they may occasionally howl like their husky counterparts. However, unlike Huskies, Pomskies are more focused on their human family, which makes them great companions for families. They are less independent than Huskies, which means they thrive on human interaction and attention.
Pomskies require a moderate amount of exercise, and they are very active, making them great running partners. They prefer to have plenty of room to run around, so a decent-sized yard is ideal for them. Although they don't always require constant attention like Pomeranians, they are not as independent as Huskies. Therefore, it's important to ensure that they get enough exercise and playtime with their family.
While Pomskies can be escape artists like Huskies, they are less likely to wander off due to their smaller size. However, it's still important to ensure that the yard is secure to prevent them from wandering off. Pomskies are friendly dogs and have a good disposition towards kids and other animals. They do not possess the high prey drive that is typical of most Huskies, which makes them great playmates for children and other pets.
How do you breed a husky with a Pomeranian?
Breeding is done with a husky female and a Pomeranian male. It is all done through artificial insemination. This is the only safe way to create a 1st generation Pomsky, or F1 Pomsky.
What if we want to breed our Pomsky?
As responsible breeders, we have a strict spay/neuter agreement for all the puppies we sell. We firmly believe that it is our duty to ensure that all the puppies we sell are spayed/neutered and not used for breeding purposes. Therefore, we do not, under any circumstance, sell a puppy with breeding rights to anyone who is not a registered member of POA and IPA. This is because we appreciate the Code of Ethics and standard breeders are held to and only feel comfortable working with people that share the same views and values that we do.
Moreover, we take the responsibility of selling puppies seriously and want to make sure that they are treated with the utmost care and respect. As such, we require that all puppies are spayed/neutered by 12 months of age. We also ask for several sources of proof to ensure that our requirements are being met. We understand the importance of proper breeding practices and believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that our puppies are not used for breeding purposes without our consent.
